Welcome to Bruce and Liz's Produce
Supermarkets sell products. We grow food. At Bruce and Liz's Produce, we take pride in offering handcrafted and authentic local produce to our community in Corrales, New Mexico and the surrounding regions. Our organic and tariff-free products are of the highest quality and reflect our passion for growing flavorful produce.
What We Grow

Our tomato varieties, Bobcat, Roma, Brandywine, Amana Orange are grown in compost-enriched beds and trellised for airflow and sun exposure. Peppers are done similarly and watched daily for perfect color. Cucumbers, munchers and pickling cukes are trellised vertically for space-saving bounty and pruned for tender skins and crunchy texture.
Burpee Ambrosia hybrid and Athena Hybrid Melons. Nestled in warm, raised beds we apply melon hammocks to cradle ripening fruit as well as train vines vertically to soak up every ounce of the Corrales sun.
Crisp, fragrant, and perfectly sliced fresh or served with a twist of lime at breakfast our cantaloupes are trellised vertically in raised beds.

How it is Grown
Before planting, we enrich our soil by shredding fallen leaves from trees on the property, mixing in bio-char, and adding aged horse manure—creating a nutrient-dense foundation. Seeds are propagated in trays with well-balanced potting soil, ensuring strong early root development before transplanting. Once in the field, tomatoes thrive in nitrogen-rich vegetable beds, designed with trellising to support vine growth, hooping structures for stability, and shade cloth to protect plants from intense midday sun. We also plant marigolds and basil nearby to attract pollinators and naturally deter pests.

Our Produce
From sun-drenched fields to hand-packed baskets, our harvest is a celebration of nature’s best flavors. Heirloom tomatoes burst with vibrant color and bold sweetness, perfect for slicing or roasting into rich sauces. Peppers, both fiery and mild, add depth to salsas, stir-fries, and savory dishes. Crisp cucumbers, trellised for the ideal crunch, are refreshing in salads or pickled for a tangy bite. Strawberries, deep red and honey-sweet, are a seasonal delight, eaten fresh or blended into preserves. Golden Yukon potatoes, grown in nutrient-rich straw mounds, offer buttery richness for roasting or mashing. Tomatillos, wrapped in their signature husks, bring bright tang to salsas and stews. Radishes, spicy and snappy, elevate dishes with their refreshing bite, while beets, earthy and sweet, shine when roasted or pickled. Melons, fragrant and sun-warmed, deliver pure summer joy—whether sliced fresh or paired with citrus and herbs. Every basket reflects the care, tradition, and richness of our land, ready to bring wholesome, homegrown goodness straight to your table.

About us
We're Bruce and Liz, two growers who believe food should be fun, flavorful, and free from corporate nonsense. While supermarkets ship bland produce across thousands of miles and store in huge, commercial warehouses, we harvest fresh, right here in Corrales, New Mexico. Because our produce is local, it's not tied up in global trade or tariffs---but grown for our neighbors and friends here at home. Flavor first and no politics!
